On 07.03.2021 BCCI announced the Schedule for VIVO IPL 2021. The first match is set to take place on the 9th of April between the defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chennai, India. The finals of the IPL will be played on 30th MAY 2021.
The total number of teams participating in this IPL will be 8 which are-
- Mumbai Indians,
- Royal Challengers Bangalore,
- Chennai Super Kings,
- Kolkata Night Riders,
- Delhi Daredevils,
- Punjab Kings
- Sunrisers Hyderabad
- Rajasthan Royals.
The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the Playoffs as well as the Final on May 30.
This time VIVO will again be the IPL Partner.
